My philosophy

Anyone can do it!

I believe in work in the pleasures of experimentation. In my opinion, everybody has the potentiel to have a great playing level on a musical instrument. One just has to help him or herself by adopting pleasant regular structured practice routines!

The method

The lessons are structured around the the desires and aspirations of each student. Doing so, the student learns what she wants. Meanwhile, we touch upon basic music theory.

The music language

Music is a language : it has its own spelling, grammar, syntax, and so on. According to that, I give a lot of importance to the theoratical and practical knowledge of rythms, scales and chords.

I firmly believe that by learning those basic notions, with time, smile, pracice and perseverance, the student will begin to be able to name the beauty she hears in music. Ideally, she will even be able to use that knowledge to compose her own compositions.
